Beginner Wheel Throwing Lesson (2 Hours)
This offering is for individuals or small groups (up to 4 people) with little to no experience, who want to learn the basics of wheel-throwing in a relaxed and encouraging environment. It's also perfect for couples looking to have a fun date-night experience!
At the start, I’ll talk you through the process and give a brief demonstration. You'll spend the rest of the time making a handful of pots (3-4 on average) while I answer questions, offer pointers, and help your creations take shape. After our session, I’ll trim and clean up your pots before finishing them with a food-safe glaze of your choosing. In about 3-6 weeks they’ll be available for pickup, ready to be cherished for a lifetime!
The price for a beginner lesson—which covers the cost of clay, as well as time spent trimming, glazing, and firing—is based on the number of participants:
Individual: $120
2 People: $200
3 - 4 People: $250 — I currently have only two wheels available, so groups of 3-4 will have slightly less time per-person at the wheel.
